Development Update: A First Look at the Botanical Garden🌿
Hello, everyone!
We’re excited to unveil a sneak peek of the Botanical Garden, one of the key locations in Broken Aperture. This space isn’t just a visual treat, it’s deeply tied to Freya’s journey, serving as the backdrop for a pivotal memory.
A Garden Full of Memories
The Botanical Garden represents a moment of peace and reflection in Freya’s story, blending natural beauty with emotional depth. Every corner of this area is designed to draw you into her world, encouraging you to slow down, explore, and uncover pieces of her past.
At its heart, the garden features a striking stone urn surrounded by vibrant flowers, hinting at a story waiting to unfold.
Key Design Highlights
- Atmosphere: The open glass dome allows sunlight to bathe the space, creating a calm yet lively ambiance. This environment is meant to make you feel at ease while fostering curiosity.
- Attention to Detail: From the lush greenery to the carefully placed flower beds, every detail was chosen to bring this garden to life. The natural elements are inspired by real botanical gardens, with a touch of surrealism to enhance the game’s tone.
What’s Coming Next?
We’re working hard to finalize the lighting, polish the details, and refine the interactive elements in this space. The Botanical Garden will be included in the playable demo, so you’ll get a chance to experience it for yourself soon!
We’d love to hear what you think! What catches your eye about this preview? Are there any details or features you’d love to see in the final version? Let us know in the comments or join our growing community on Discord to share your thoughts!
